Trailer of Nonte Fonte launched by Sandip Roy with a tribute to Narayan Debnath
Legendary Comic artist Narayan Debnath’s popular characters Nonte Fonte is finally coming on big screen. Nonte Fonte along with Hada Voda and Batul the Great are house hold names in Bengali diaspora and forms an inherent part of Bengali Nostalgia.
Sandip Roy launches the trailer via Video conference
Famous director Sandip Roy launched the trailer from his house at Bihop Lefroy Road. The movie which is being directed by Anirban Chakraborty. The trailer launch event which took place at Bhooter Raja Dilo Bor saw the presence of the cast and crew of the movie.
Soham Roy and Soham Basu Chowdhury plays Nonte and Fonte respectively
In the movie the two brothers Nonte and Fonte will be seen engaged in an eternal effort to subdue each other with their mischievous moves. Having enough of their acts , Nonte Fonte’s family sends them to the Hostel of Haati Sir. During the hilarious turn of events at the hostel, the two brothers manages to capture the burglar Kaankra.
Amlan Majumdar
Kaankra is a gang member of Dragon, who heads a training center for burgling and robbery. Many notorious burglars and robes have been his disciple. This glory of the two infuriates Keltu who is a senior student and Monitor at the hostel. He bullys other Students and regularly steals their food.
Now Keltu leaves no stone unturned to frame Nonet and Fonte of various guilts and make them suffer punishment from Haati Sir. He also claims to be a valiant hunter. Soon news reach them that a tiger is tormenting villagers at the Sunderban Village where Hati Sir’s cousin lives. As Hati sir takes Nonte Fonte and Keltu to Sunderban, they get hijacked by the gang members of Dragon. Dragon intends to turn them into robbers and burglars. What happens next will form the climax of the story.
Biswajit Chakrabarty
Budding actors Soham Roy and Soham Basu will play the lead characters Nonte and Fonte. Their arch rival Keltu Da will be played by Krishna Banerjee.
Manojyoti Mukherjee
Manojyoti Mukherjee will get into the shows of headmaster Hati sir while veteran actor Biswajit Chakrabarty will woo the audience in the role of superintendent of police, pivotal character in the comic series. Kanchana Moitra is going to play the role of Chingri. Popular actor Lama will also be seen in a major role. Rumi will play the role of Buchi.The biggest surprise in the cast is Veteran actor Power house Paran Bandhopadhaya.

The story from Narayan Debnath comics have been turned into script by Amlan Majumdar. Ace musician and singer Anupam Roy has composed the music of the film as well as have sang the title song of the movie.
