Trailer of Katakuti launched, hospitalised Raja Chanda wishes via video

The trailer of Katakuti, the latest web series featuring Saurav Das was recently launched at a gala event. Though Raja Chanda, the director had to give the event a miss due to a medical emergency, he did sent an inspiring message through a recorded video. The video was played before the trailer.
Lead actors Saurav Das, Manosi Sengupta, Devtanu, Paean Sarkar and Jammy Banerjee were present at the trailer launch. Writer Arnab, along with the other crew members were also present at the event. Rana Basu Thakur was seen playing the role of anchor and he ensured the smooth flow of the event.
Actress Paean Sarkar, who also happens to be the better half of director Raja Chanda was handed the microphone first. A visibly emotional Paean said, “Raja had repeatedly told me not to keep gloomy face during this event. He has been discharged today only and is now recovering well, thanks to the good wishes of all of the people present here. We are very thankful for your love and affection.”
“Raja was admitted in Hospital on the day of the teaser launch of Katakuti and now on the day of the trailer launch he is being discharged from Hospital. There is surely some sort of divine connection with this web series” added Paean.
Saurav Das said on the occasion, “Katakuti will remain as a special work for me. I loved the way Raja Chanda brings out his creativity. He has a very unique style of working.”
Saurav also shared the memory of meeting Raja Chanda for the first time. “I was acting at the theatre Padatik. After the show was over Raja Chanda met me and appreciated my acting in the play. He also asked me if I was interested to do anything for Television screen. I was just starting my career at that time and he was already a star director. Finally I have worked with him. It’s like a dream come true.”

Actress Manosi Sengupta said, “It was a wonderful experience to be part of this project. I loved working with this cast and crew. After the shooting was over, Raja sir texted me to ask how was the experience of working in this project. I replied that everything was cool but the director is a bit hot-headed. I still have that conversation saved.”

Actor Devtanu said, “Working in Katakuti has been a huge learning process for me. I have learned a lot during the making of this film. I learned a lot from Saurav who is way senior to me and a champion of web series. It was also a wonderful experience to work with Manosi. Manosi plays the role of my wife and we had to shoot some difficult scenes together but Manosi made it so easy for me.”
The trailer of Katakuti was launched and it hints that the web series is going to be a very violent action flick. It will start streaming on Klikk from 25th March onwards.
