Bonny Sengupta and Anamika pair up for paranormal thriller Jotugriho

Tollywood heartthrob Bonny Sengupta is all set to star in upcoming Bengali paranormal thriller titled 'Jotugriho'. The movie which will be directed by Saptaswa Basu recently launched its first look at a popular pub in Kolkata in the presence of the cast and crew.
Anamika Chakrabarty will be seen playing the female lead in the movie. The actress has became a household name for her role as Hiya in the serial 'Ekhane Akash Neel' Now the bubbly actress seems to be seriously focusing into big screen. Jotugriho is going to be her second movie venture, the first being 'Ishqabon' which is already on floors.

During the first look launch of the movie Bonny Sengupta look dapper in a black shirt paired with a cool blue denims while Anamika stunned everyone as she looked diva in a purple gown.
Jotigriho revolves round a guy named Rehan (Bonny) who reaches a sleepy hill town to work as a manager in a hotel. He develops a feelings for a mysterious local girl who lives alone in a grand Manor house. If rumours are to be believed, the place is haunted and some supernatural entity is in control of the place. How Rehan deals with the supernatural entity and how he brings her love back from its clutches forms the crux of the movie.
Jotugriho is going to be the third directorial venture for Saptaswa Basu after Network and Pratidwandi. The previous two movies has shown that the directorial is unwilling to tread traditional paths but rather wants to gift the audience something unusual. Same can be expected from Jotugriho too.

Cast and Crew of Jotugriho
Arnab Bhowmik has written the script and story of the film while Dabbu is composing the background music of the film.
The movie is being produced by Next Gen venture and SSG entertainments.
Raktim Chatterjee who is at the helm of Next Gen Ventures expressed high hopes for the movie as he said that the script offers something completely new for Bengali audience.
